Disney Cotino Model Homes & Estate Floor Plans

Hello, I hope you are having an incredible week! I'm grateful for the opportunity to help so many of you buy homes in Cotino. This week I was able to help another client purchase a home in the Cottage collection! I wanted to mention that now it has sort of become first come first serve with the future releases. All you need to do is have a pre-sales appointment and then submit your proof of funds or pre-qualification documents. After that if people pass on the homes that are released you have a very good chance of getting a home now.

Model Homes

I have some very exciting news for you regarding the model homes at Cotino. There are currently three model homes under construction, and they are anticipated to be completed in May or June of this year! They are building two homes from the Cottage collection and one home from the Grand collection. I have a video coming out next week on YouTube showing the progress of the entire development, and I took great video clips of the exteriors of the model homes! The home shown on the left is the Moderne floor plan from the Cottage collection. The home shown on the right is the Atelier 2 floor plan from the Cottage collection. It's exciting to see these homes being built because you can see how beautiful the views will be of the Santa Rosa Mountains in the south and the San Jacinto Mountains in the west. In the north, we have the Chocolate Mountains, which are beautiful as well!

Estate Collection Floor Plans Released

Woodbridge Pacific Group has released their floor plans for the Estate collection. Woodbridge Pacific Group will be the first builder to release homes for the Estate collection. The first home-buying appointments for these homes are anticipated to begin sometime in April or May. They have started pre-home buying appointments for these homes, so please contact me if you would like to schedule one. They have announced that these will start selling in the mid $2 millions. I expect them to average somewhere around $3,000,000 to $3,500,000 once different options, like casitas, are added. The Grand collection homes started in the low $2 millions, and when specced out with casitas, ended up being around $2.5 million to $2.8 million. The Woodbridge Pacific Group Estates start at 3,516 square feet and go up to 3,985 square feet. This does not include the square footage of a casita if you add that option. There are five floor plans in total to choose from, and the homes look stunning! Davidson will be the second builder to release floor plans sometime in May or June. The Davidson homes are anticipated to be larger at 4,000 to 7,000 square feet, as well as larger lots. They will probably start in the high $3 million range.

What To Expect When You Purchase A Home

After working with many different clients to buy homes in Cotino I have been able to learn the sales process. Here is a brief overview of the current process when you go under contract on a home at Cotino. By the way, everything I say is subject to change! Once you decide on a lot, there is a lot of paperwork that you will be reviewing and signing. One of the first documents you will receive is the community disclosures, and after you review those, you will receive the purchase agreement. Once the purchase agreement is fully executed, escrow will be opened. Within three days of opening escrow, First American Title and Escrow will send wiring instructions for your earnest money deposit on the home. After that, you will be contacted by the design studio to make an appointment to order options and upgrades if you choose. You will have 21 days after opening escrow to visit the design studio. If you would like Shea Homes to design and landscape your home, which can include a pool, you will meet the landscape designer Tesserra. The landscape design should be completed within 30 days of opening escrow. This is a brief general overview so you can have an idea of what to expect.
