For golfers, The Desert Classic tournament takes place in La Quinta, and it is one of the stops on the PGA Tour. At the Desert Classic, you will see greats like Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods.
 
Palm Springs also has an international film festival in January, a film noir festival, and an American documentary film festival. If that all wasn’t enough, there are Coachella and Stagecoach music festivals that take place in Indio at the Empire Polo Fields!
