Golf at Ironwood Country Club

The South and North courses provide two different golf experiences inside the same club. The South Course is a par-72 layout playing from 4,773 to 7,274 yards, while the North Course is a shorter, more walkable par-71 course playing from 4,566 to 6,212 yards.

The original courses were designed by Desmond Muirhead and Ted Robinson in consultation with Arnold Palmer. John Fought later redesigned selected holes. Practice facilities include a double-sided driving range, four short-game areas, two putting greens, instruction, clinics, and a golf shop.

Golf Membership and HOA Dues

Club membership is separate from the purchase of a home. The published Proprietary Golf figures are a $60,000 initiation fee, $2,159 in monthly dues, and a $150 monthly facility capital charge.

Executive Golf is available on limited terms to qualifying applicants under age 55. The published figures are a $60,000 initiation fee and $1,080 in monthly dues. The club states that Executive Golf dues are one-half of regular golf dues until the membership converts at the end of age eligibility.

Social Membership is listed at a $10,000 initiation fee and $675 per month. It includes the club's non-golf facilities, limited in-season golf subject to restrictions and green fees, summer golf privileges with green fees, and optional practice-facility access for an additional annual charge.

HOA dues are property-specific because Ironwood contains multiple residential associations and ownership types. Current property examples range from $175 to $630 per month.

Homes and Property Types

Ironwood includes a wider range of housing than the word “country club” may suggest. Buyers can compare attached condominiums, townhomes, freestanding condominium residences, detached homes, expanded properties, and custom homes.

The legal property type matters. A residence can look and function like a detached house while still being legally classified as a condominium. That distinction can affect exterior maintenance, roof responsibility, insurance, financing, reserves, and HOA dues.

Some homes are positioned near community pools and association-maintained landscaping, while larger properties may include private pools, courtyards, guest accommodations, and owner-maintained grounds. Mountain, fairway, lake, and interior locations should be compared for sun exposure, privacy, golf-ball exposure, cart-path traffic, elevation, and nearby common areas.

Seventeen clearly active properties were identified on July 23, 2026, with asking prices from $420,000 to $1.58 million. The active set consisted primarily of condominiums, townhomes, and freestanding residences that may still be legally classified as condominiums.

Buying a Home in Ironwood Country Club

The best comparison starts with the exact association and legal ownership type, then moves to the home's condition, location, HOA package, and club membership.
